“The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of ‘liberalism’ they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.”

Body found in golf-course water hazard......cracker-jack police suspect foul play

Here's the latest crime story from our fair city, Birmingham....

The body of a man believed to be the missing heir of an Alabama potato chip fortune(Golden Flake), was found today floating in a Birmingham golf course pond, police told ABC News.com.

Three golfers saw the body floating in the pond Monday. Police said investigators used dental records Tuesday to determine the remains found were those of Major Bashinsky, a 63-year-old lawyer from Mountain Brook, Ala., who went missing on March 3.

I think the wife had it done since she's now the heir to the Golden Flake fortune. Plus, when she was interviewed right after he disappeared, she was startlingly casual and didn't cry, as if she was being interviewed for Garden of the Month award or something.

What is the PGA rule about bodies in a water hazard? Can you play through before calling the cops? What if your ball strikes a body in a hazard? Is that considered an obstruction from which you get relief?

The pond they found him in, is the scenic, par4, down-hill, dog-leg 10th, on which I've made several birdies....just sayin'.
