“The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of ‘liberalism’ they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.”

The cost of urban liberalism

You'll be shocked, SHOCKED to hear about rioting in Oakland in the wake of a verdict, favorable to the rioters....

California (Reuters) - A white former transit police officer was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in a videotaped shooting death of an unarmed black man last year in Oakland, California, sparking a wave of looting and destruction in the city on Thursday.

Why riot and destroy your own neighborhood if the cracker cop was found guilty? Perhaps the rioting had less to do with the outcome of the trial and more to do with criminals and thugs taking advantage of any opportunity to loot businesses for whatever they could grab, all under the guise of social and racial unrest....perfectly understandable to the stupid media.

This is what you can expect when local governments maintain urban slums where dependence is the name of the game, poverty and destitution are rampant, and criminals are allowed to rule. It happens in every big city in the US and Europe where liberal ideology has plunged the urban centers into endless cycles of unemployment, lost opportunities, and hopelessness.

I agree , this looting is an excuse to commit crime and in no way is a protest of social unrest. If it were- yeah- you would take the wanton destruction to the area that caused you the grief. But I bet looting the police station would not be as easy, or as lucrative, a " protest" eh?
