“The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of ‘liberalism’ they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.”

Man on the Moon

45 years ago today, Neil Armstrong stepped on the moon. Take a minute today and marvel at the ingenuity and determination required for a nation to invent manned flight at Kitty Hawk in 1903 and then put a man on the moon and bring him safely home, in only 66 years.
That rapid advance of technology would have been unimaginable if you had predicted it in 1903.

Ed,
I think I remember watching this on TV but I may be mis-remembering. Either way, an incredible feat.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I remember it but it's not clear. For a long time I thought my second grade teacher wheeled a TV cart into the classroom for us to watch, but it was in July, so I wouldn't have been in school.

Maybe the thousands of times I've seen the video makes me think I watched it live.

Honestly, I was probably out throwing rocks out of the drive way, as usual.
